Not all vitamins and supplements are created equal
You would think there is a standard of manufacturing for vitamins and supplements. There isn’t. The industry itself is unregulated. Regulation provides manufacturing standards. Otherwise, it’s the wild west with what you get in the bottle.
Save yourself. Avoid buying your vitamins and the big box stores. Look for a company that is seen as an innovator in the health, wellness, and nutrition field. A company whose standards are “Beyond Organic” meaning it’s not just about how an ingredient is grown but also how it is harvested, transported, manufactured and processed, and how it is packaged. All of these elements are critical to what you pay for and what you get.
Consider a company that has never had any recalls, litigation, or lawsuits. The FDA has had endless recalls of companies and their products that were contaminated with heavy metals, bacteria, or even prescription drugs.
Our health is our #1 asset. Companies that cut corners and use low quality or tainted ingredients do a great injustice to the industry. They also endanger the health of consumers in an attempt to hold down costs or take shortcuts.
