Life in the Fast Lane
Do you live and work in the fast lane? Today’s message is based on a Lifestyle coaching tip. While some people think it is a great thing to live going 90 to nothing at work and at play your body thinks otherwise. There is a reason why you are supposed to have rest and relaxation so your body and brain can recharge.
My biggest concern is when you have to drink one of the popular energy drinks to wake you up in the morning and to keep you going during the day. Coffee used to be the beverage of choice. The options have changed in recent years. A word of caution those energy drinks stimulate your body and are only recommended to consume one per day. I’ve seen people at the gym consume two during a workout. I’ve heard people tell me they have to drink one to wake up in the morning. These are not good comments to hear or observations to make. Constantly stimulating your body can result in your body crashing and burning.
If you work long, late hours and are hoping to get ahead take a moment to think about what you are missing in life – a relationship, better health, enjoying what the world has to share.
My health and lifestyle recommendation is to reduce your consumption of these drinks. Your heart and health will thank you.
