Immune System: Supplements and Foods
Some people believe they can keep a healthy immune system by the food they eat. Partially true. I also believe you have to boost your immune system on occasion, especially when those sniffly nose kids are around, a colleague who keeps coughing and hacking, and when I’m in a hugging mood. I’m a hugger so keeping my immune system healthy 24/7/365 is imperative.
I keep my immune system healthy with Nutriferon, taking it twice a day. I boost my immune system with Defend & Resist. It is helpful when I am traveling. I definitely take Defend & Resist when I get that tickle in the back of my throat. On occasion, I also use Vitalized Immunity. I place it in water and wait for it to dissolve. It is a nice, orange flavored drink.
If you want to help out your immune system with what you eat, here are some foods that can help.
- Sunflower, pumpkin, and flax seeds
- Garlic, ginger, and turmeric roots
- Pasture-raised eggs
- Brightly colored vegetables and fruits (ie: beets)
- Grass-fed meats
- Green, leafy vegetables
- Wild-caught fish
So keep you immune system happy and healthy and you will avoid the sniffles, colds, flus, and aches.
