Do you get enough Vitamin-D3?
Vitamin-D3 is a necessary vitamin. Most people believe they just need to spend 30 minutes a day outside in the sunshine and that will suffice. It does not. Only when the sun is direct to your part of the country (or world) do you even begin to get enough exposure to the sun. And if you wear sunscreen, well, that is important to prevent skin cancer but it does not allow Vitamin-D3 to develop.
How do you know what your Vitamin-D level is? Get a hydroxy-25 test from your doctor. This will tell you your current level. Most people are deficient so don’t be surprised if you are too. I was. I take a minimum of 2000 IU (international units) per day to make sure I am getting my minimum. You can always add more and you should the older you get. You cannot take too much. And the protection you get to your health is priceless.
