Can my skin improve from working out?
When we exercise our circulation gets improved and our bodies detoxify through sweat. This can give us the after-exercise glow. It is also important to take care of your skin properly before and after a workout.
Remove makeup before a workout. I work out in the morning so this is a no-brainer for me. Makeup can clog pores.
Wash your hands after a workout. The equipment I sometimes use is used all day long. It’s good hygiene to wash your hands, especially during cold and flu season, and more importantly after everyone and their brother has used the same exercise equipment.
Warm showers preferred over hot showers. Hot water can remove natural oils and dehydrate your skin.
