Athletes – every day or endurance
I bet you have never really thought about it before but there are two different types of athletes. The every day athlete who works out for fitness, weight loss, better looking in the mirror, or better fitting clothes. Some every day athletes would be considered weekend warriors too. Those people who do their activities only on the weekends. Or you could be a casual workout person, attending a fitness class here and there.
Then there are those people whom I would classify as endurance athletes. They train for marathons, the Olympics, the Iron Man, the Tough Mudder, or compete in a variety of skilled sports. A perfect example of a skilled sport would be martial arts, ice skating, and even surfing. They require stamina and endurance and the body to perform when they call on it to do so.
Health and wellness is important to both types of athletes. Supporting your body before, during, or after a workout or specific physical activity is an excellent idea. The key is to put nutritional products in your body that are beyond organic and are natural, not man-made in a laboratory. Mother Nature really does know best even when it comes to your vitamins, minerals, and herbal products.
